This particular module examines the financial side and relevant techniques that may assist smart management decisions. It is assumed that you will have already acquired a knowledge of basics of financial terms, the concepts behind it and the financial statements. You will be able to polish these skills by considering the availability of financial information that may be key to decision making, how they are critical to make an informed decision, looking at the types of decisions and their requirements, leading to more bespoke information that lay the foundation of the decision.
Here you will undertake a major project that focuses on your knowledge and ability to demonstrate the business management in an area of specific interest which may be relevant to yourself or your organization, such as:
- An applied or engaged research project
- An enterprise consultancy project
- Taking a new business proposition through to proof of concept
About Anglia Ruskin University
Anglia Ruskin University began as the Cambridge School of Art founded by William Beaumont. It was then merged with the Cambridgeshire College of Arts and Technology and the Essex Institute of Higher Education and was renamed Anglia Polytechnic. - Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Marketing Strategy (Level 7) or equivalent.
- Applicants without a Level 7 Diploma but holding significant managerial experience will be considered for Advanced Entry on a case-by-case basis.
- A good command of English (Overall IELTS Score 6.0 or equivalent).
